Transcript

Easter, 2019. Linda Varga of Wausau, Wisconsin, sent her blue-lidded casserole dish home with her sister-in-law. Full of lasagna.

This is the last known photo of the dish in Linda's possession.

Two years later, it surfaced at a church potluck across town.

It's been seen at three potlucks since. Every time, with somebody else's lasagna in it.

Her sister-in-law, Donna, told Linda by text that she gave it back years ago. At Easter, 2020. The family didn't hold Easter in 2020.

Text messages

Donna, do you still have my blue casserole dish?

I gave it back years ago

Easter 2020 I think?

We didn't have Easter in 2020.

Then, last June, a neighbor's patio camera caught it at a graduation party on Linden Street. The lid was missing. So was Linda's lasagna.
