KANSAS CITY, MO—In a shocking move, pop superstar Taylor Swift has announced the release of her new album ‘Travis’ after dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce for only two weeks.
Her previous work, which concentrated on her breakups and feuds with other celebrities, was contrasted by the album’s 13 songs that were inspired by her whirlwind romance with the nfl star. Swift claimed that her goal was to capture the joy and elation of finding love with someone who enjoys friendship bracelets, football, and music.
“I’ve never felt this way before,” Swift gushed in a press release. “Travis is the most amazing person I’ve ever met. He’s funny, smart, kind, and talented. He makes me feel like I can do anything. He’s my soulmate, my best friend, and my muse. This album is a tribute to him and our love story.”
Some of the songs on the album include:
- “You Belong With Me (At Arrowhead Stadium)”: Swift’s catchy ode describes how she and Kelce decided to support the Kansas City Chiefs after running into each other at a concert. Through touchdowns, true love!
- “Blank Space (On Your Jersey)”: Is a lighthearted anthem about Swift’s ardent desire to serve as Kelce on every game day, donning his jersey with pride and adding her name for the finishing touch.
- “Shake It Off (The Haters)”: In this song, Taylor and Travis couldn’t care less about what people think. They’re too busy making funny faces at each other to the rhythm of the haters’ chatter.
- “I Knew You Were Trouble (When You Walked In)”: Swift recalls having some initial skepticism about Kelce’s reputation as a party animal in this dramatic ballad. She had no idea that she would soon become the party’s life!
- “Wildest Dreams (Come True)”: Swift and Kelce are singing about how they brought each other’s fantasies to life and now they are floating on touchdown and confetti clouds.
- “Look What You Made Me Do (Fall In Love)”: Swift mockingly accuses Kelce of making her heart work out in gymnastics because she has never had such a good workout.
- “Bad Blood (With The Patriots)”: A fierce song about how Swift and Kelce hate the New England Patriots and their coach Bill Belichick, who joked that Kelce dating Swift would be the biggest moment of his career.
- “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together (With Our Exes)”: Swift and Kelce tell their ex-partners that they will never be able to make amends because they are channeling their inner Taylor Swift.
- “You Need To Calm Down (About The Rumors)”: The couple tells the world, “Relax, we’re too busy being adorable together to care.”
- “Lover (Of Football)”: Swift’s love letter to football, in which she declares Kelce to be the source of her newfound passion.
- “The Man (In My Life)”: Swift’s feminist anthem, praising Kelce as a great friend and standing by her.
- “ME! (And You)”: A catchy song that celebrates the two of them as well as the even more distinctive “US.”
- “Travis (The One)”: Swift’s heartfelt love for her man could power a thousand Super Bowl halftime performances.
Swift said she is not bothered by the criticism and is confident that her relationship with Kelce will last. She said she is planning to propose to him on the field after the next Chiefs game and hopes he will say yes.
“I know it’s fast, but when you know, you know,” Swift said. “Travis is the one for me and I’m the one for him. We’re perfect for each other. We’re going to get married and have beautiful babies and live happily ever after. This is the best thing that ever happened to me. I love him more than anything. He’s my Travis.”
Many people speculate there will be a sequel album in the coming weeks.
