Detroit, MI – When President Joe Biden visited the United Auto Workers union on Tuesday and thought they were climate activists, he made a mistake. By 2030, he vowed to outlaw automobiles and fossil fuels while praising them for their bravery.

The striking workers, who were waving signs and shouting slogans, greeted Biden as he arrived in a line of SUVs. He assumed they were protesting the negative effects of the auto industry on the environment so he gave an impromptu speech as he joined them on the picket line.

“Thank you for coming today. You represent this nation’s future. The people fighting for our planet are you. You are the ones to say no to major oil and gas companies.” Biden waved his fist in the air. “You’re the ones who are saying yes to green jobs and clean energy! “

Biden then stated that by 2030, all gasoline- or diesel-powered vehicles would be prohibited by executive order. He declared that he would trade them in for electric cars, dogs sleds, tricycles, bicycles, and horses. He also stated that solar and wind energy would replace all coal and natural gas plants.

“People, we must act immediately. We must safeguard our planet because climate change poses an existential threat to it. It is necessary to stop these polluting vehicles that are killing our children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and chocolate chip ice cream lovers.”

Biden’s speech shocked and incensed the UAW employees, who attempted to correct him and explain that they were on strike to obtain better pay and benefits. They expressed to him their love for their possessions and their desire to maintain their careers. Additionally, they warned him that his strategy would harm the environment and economy.

Biden, however, disregarded them and kept praising their activism. Then he requested that they join him in singing “We Shall Overcome” and “This Land Is Your Land. ” Additionally, he extended an invitation to them to join him for ice cream at a nearby establishment.

“Come on, folks. Let’s celebrate. We’re making history here and we’re gonna save the world. This is the best day ever,” Biden said, as he led the workers to the ice cream shop with no one following him.
